a little about the kinds of romance you write.
As Elle James, I write romantic
suspense featuring military heroes and cowboys. As Myla Jackson, I write
contemporary romance with cowboys based around the Ugly Stick Saloon in Texas.
How did
your writing career begin?
My sister, Delilah Devlin, and I
challenged each other to write a romance novel in the year 2000. We began by
co-authoring 5 books together and have since branched out on our own. I’ve now
written more than 130 books. She’s written even more!
Are you
indie, traditional or hybrid?
Hybrid. I write a lot of indie books,
but I also write for Harlequin Intrigue.

Don’t keep writing/revising your first
book, keep moving forward, write more!
