LOL - I like the shoplifters will be prostituted the best.
A few years back, I went to lunch at this place that had a blackboard with the specials on it. They had turkey sandwitches that day. My friend pointed out that sandwiches isn't spelled that way. The server insisted the spelling was correct. Have to wonder how these people graduated HS.
Drives me crazy when I see 'to' used instead of 'too' and 'loose' instead of 'lose'. Few seem to notice mistakes any longer.
I can't believe all of the errors I'm seeing these days but I guess it's a sad sign of the times. Tina's point about the server insisting the spelling for sandwi(t)ches was correct, is scary. What are they, or should I say, aren't they teaching kids these days?
Editing can be so important and make people seem as less than they are. This week on the front page of the local newspaper, they said that the government was in disagreement over clams... not claims... I just laughed!
