I’ve always wanted to be an author. It’s been my dream since ever I could remember. I think that’s pretty true for most writers. But why did I choose Erotic Romance when there are so many other genres to choose from?
It’s a pretty short answer.
I love it.
We are taught as writers to write what we know, and what we want to read. So, I do.
I love reading erotic romance because it gives me the thrill and excitement of hot, kinky sex with Alpha book boyfriends without having to actually get dressed up and leave my house (or my husband lol). I get the Ahhhh sensation we all crave from the romance genre; except with erotic romance, I get all heated up on the way.
Plus, being in the kinky lifestyle, I know a bit about it. I’ll let you in on a little secret- I’m a lazy writer. I hate researching more than absolutely necessary. So, writing something like historical romance is pretty much out.
So, since I know kink, and I love reading erotic romance, it only made good sense to make a home in the genre. And I’ve never regretted it. I write some pretty kinky stuff. I like to make my heroine’s uncomfortable, to push them to the brink of their submission, and show them how deeply their love of dominance actually goes. So, don’t be surprised to see strong women doing some pretty dirty things.
If you’ve never read any of my books here’s where you can start. If you’re looking for contemporary BDSM romance, start with my Windy City Series. If you’re looking for a bit darker, a bit dirtier, start with my Owned and Protected Series. And be sure to let me know what you read and what you thought. I absolutely love getting feedback from readers.
Even if you don’t pick up one of my books, give erotic romance a try. If nothing else, make sure to read something sexy!
Happy Reading!
