The Life of A Multitasker!

I forgot how hectic working outside of the house is. I mean as a single parent, multitasking came easy. Book keeper, laundress, therapist, nurse, nurturer, housekeeper, conflict-solver, and so much more. But add on Being all of those, a fiance, outside of the house worker and an author and Whoooooo. I'm a friggin basket case!

I love the insanity, and thrive well in the Chaos. Even if I'm a tad bit late. I have an entire new list of characteristics to use with main ones for both heroes and heroines!

I have a new process.

At work I.....

Check and file email into folders.

I answer what I can and toss the rest.

I write for 45 mintues at lunch and email my editors with questions I have.

When I get home :P

I make dinner and spend time with the family and when their bed time hits, I gather what I want to write before bed or in the morning at work.

On the weekends. I have one day to just write and the other day for the kids and housecleaning!

The kids take turns making dinner so that I can have some extra time.

The best part is. More money means more vaction and author conventions!

How do you juggle it all? I want to know!

Have a great one!

  1. Fun post.
My sons are grown with families of their own now, and I thoroughly enjoy it when they look at me and ask how we ever managed...

  2. I've been fortunate to be able to stay home. My mornings are full of checking emails; blogging; and facebook. I do a few household chores or errands, then lunch and spend the afternoon writing/editing. When the kids get home from school, I supervise homework, fix dinner, and depending on what night it is, I may continue writing before bedtime.

The two years I did work at the school, I was grumpy due to no time to write. And when summer arrived, the words poured from my pen for three weeks!

  3. Love the graphic! I don't know how we do it all. Multitasking is not pretty, but necessary, especially when you have an EDJ as I do. :)
