Is it Ides of March again?

I love that term...the Ides of March...

Not only does it mark the day two days before St. Patrick's Day, but it has a certain ring to it..."Beware the Ides of March". Gives me a shiver. Maybe it should also mark the 5th day of daylight savings time for 2013. Hmmm...

Because I missed my last post for February, I am scheduling this post a couple of weeks in advance so I don't leave the other members hanging again. I owe that much to them for all their support.

I guess I should announce the fact that my muse (bless her little heart) is still totally ignoring me and has been watching the soaps for a few weeks.  I asked why, and she simply said they were more interesting that anything I had running around inside my head at the time.  And she's right.  Although I haven't watched a soap opera in over 25 years.  I have to take her word for that.

My mind had been elsewhere for a while now, and the "sorta-flu-like" symptoms that have had me down for over a month now were a royal pain.  Don't blame her for packing her bags and heading for the coast.  But I will be writing again soon...when I get my computer back into my room again where I can have total privacy once again.  I find it really hard to write erotic romance when I am sitting in my grandson's bedroom.  I am used to writing late into the night, and now I can only use the computer when he is at work, since he goes to bed at 9:00 p.m. and gets up to 4:00 a.m.

But I am getting even with my missing muse by doing a small giveaway.  I have all these author copies stacked in boxes, and figured I would give one of them away.  An autographed copy of Hard Work Hot Boss.

The print book contains two of my best-selling novellas; Jillian's Job and Woman on Fire.

If you are interested in winning a copy, come on over to my website for the rules.  The contest will be on my contests page.  It will start today (March 15th) and run through midnight March 22, 2013. The rules will be easy, I promise.  And if there are more than 20 entrants, there will be several secondary prizes as well, so there's a better chance of winning something.

I will put all eligible entries into a hat and I will have my grandson draw out the winner for the main prize, as well as secondary prizes.

So drop on over and check out the rules at  http://www.franleeromance.com

PS!  Leave a comment here so I'll feel better...:)

Hugs!

  2. Sometimes you just have to take a little time to recharge the little gray cells:) I have no doubt that getting things back to normal will help with your productivity and we'll be seeing another sexy cover with your name on it soon!

BTW, I loved both of these books and some lucky winner is going to be very happy.

  3. What a HOT cover! Don't worry about that muse. Fretting over her never helps. Just put something on that page and type away. Wish you could redecorate the grandson's room into a space for you! Maybe, someday.
