BIO:
Maeve Greyson writes paranormal romances with a Celtic twist from her cozy little home not too far from Kentucky Lake. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, Maeve listens to the wind whispering through the trees and hears the voices of her characters.

Her debut novel, BEYOND A HIGHLAND WHISPER is available now from The Wild Rose Press and other online retailers. March 2012 will see two new paranormal romances from Maeve. THE HIGHLANDER’S FURY releases from The Wild Rose Press on March 2nd and ETERNITY’S MARK releases from Kensington’s Brava line on March 27th. ETERNITY’S MARK was the winner of Kensington Brava and RT Book Reviews 2011 Writing with the Stars Contest.

Q: What’s the first thing you did when you received word you’d sold a book?
A: Double-checked to make sure the email was really addressed to me.

Q: What hobby do you enjoy when not writing?
A: Photography. I know just enough about my camera and photo shop to be extraordinarily dangerous. All the wildlife around my home have learned to run when they see the silly lady with the black camera hanging around her neck.

Q: What’s your strongest point as a writer?
A: The nice way to describe that I’m a sucker for punishment would be I’m tenacious when faced with adversity. I don’t take no for an answer and I never give up. If you don’t possess just a tiny bit of that trait, you’ll never make as an author.

Q: You’re on a remote island with a handsome man, a computer, and a “mysterious” source of electricity to power your computer. What do you do?
A: Have the handsome man build a shelter, start a fire and find some food while I finish edits on my next story.

Q: What genre would you like to try writing in but haven’t yet done so? Why?
A: Romantic suspense but I have a difficult time not spilling the beans until the proper moment. I can’t very well surprise the reader when I’m a complete blabber mouth.

Q: Facebook, MySpace, Blogs, Chats, or Twitter. Which do you like best and why?
A: Facebook – I like. It’s a great place to get to know folks. Not only do I connect with readers but I get to know a little about them while they get to know me too.
Twitter – I like. It’s taught me to be concise. 140 characters only.
Blogs – I like. BUT I suffer from “Sporadic Blogging Syndrome”. I only write posts for my blog when a topic demands to be heard.
Chats – I DO NOT LIKE. I can’t keep up with the freakin’ things. By the time I type out a reply, the conversation has moved on to a different topic and then my post makes me look like a fish floundering on the beach.
MySpace – I no longer go to MySpace. I had a page there but shut it down when I kept attracting scary stalker types looking for mates.

Against his better judgment, he’s enthralled with the woman and to Ciara’s surprise, this strange thing called love burns hotter than her hunger for vengeance.

At the end of the seven years the ruse is up, all will return to as it was. Can the bond of love overcome the mandate of the ultimate powers?

EXCERPT:
Her smile was the first thing Faolan noticed, full lips with a sensuous pout, upturned with an air of generosity. She nodded and smiled her welcome to all in the room as she moved gracefully through the archway. Faolan followed the curve of her high cheekbones, his chest tightening at the intelligence sparkling in her gaze. Her eyes shimmered golden. They burnished warm as honey-flavored brandy swirling beneath the glow of torch light. Her sleek black curls piled high upon her head, held in place by a golden circlet. Her crimson gown fit her narrow waist and flattered the curve of her hips. Her neckline plunged low enough to quicken her intended’s heart but still modest enough to befit a maiden. She was taller then he’d thought she’d be. He could’ve sworn his informants had reported Dierdra Sinclair a wispy, elfin lass. The woman before him stood tall and willowy. The top of her head neared his shoulders and Faolan stood well over six and half feet tall.

She moved with the fluid grace of one accustomed to being among crowds. She nodded and greeted each person she met with perfect ease. There was nothing simple-minded about this lass in anything she did. She carried herself with an air of surety. This woman knew her place in the world.

Faolan ground his teeth as the realization hit him: Dierdra Sinclair was not in need of saving. Faolan’s gut wrenched. He’d been played the fool, a duped pawn set into place for the taking.
