Giving away a free book today...

I want to know what kind of hero you prefer...
So please check out the guys below...and pick your favorite man...

Okay...look these hot men over and let me know in comments which guy rings your bells...the most.  Tell me why.  The way he is standing? The way he makes you feel?  His body?  His attitude?  The way his jeans fit?  


What makes you sit up and take a closer look?  Is there an aura of sensuality?  A sense of sex-on-the-hoof masculinity?  Or do you just love to ogle?  Would you buy a book that had one of these men on the cover?  Or would you pass it over in favor of a cook book?


We are authors. We are in the business of selling books.  It isn't surprising that many readers choose a book because of the cover.  Shallow?  Not at all.  A cover must be evocative, sexy, thrilling.  A cover must make a reader turn and stare, then reach out.  The reader will then peruse the blurb...the excerpt.  If it all fits, the reader will buy.

So, in the time-honored tradition of voting for your favorites, please tell me which guy rings YOUR bells.  And why he does.  And if I really love your comment, you may just win a hot, sexy book.

    First, I would buy a book with anyone of those men on it...they are all hot and having any of them on cover is a guaranteed sell to me.
    Second I cant chose just one, so for me, I have to chose two of them.
    #4 Got my attention right away, he is beautiful and has such a dominant sexy way about him. Plus I love Black men, and it is hard as Heck to find interracial romance with a the man being Black.
    #5 Rocks my world too. I love Tattoos on a man...makes me mouth water.
    So there you have it, I am a "greedy cat". LOL

    Number 6 for me:) He has that whole strong, working man appeal and guys who can "fix" things do it for me. Then there's the nature thing where he isn't afraid of getting his hair wet, and oh my but his neck looks delicious and he looks as if he's about to drop his overalls, and...

    I think I need some ice-water and I haven't even gotten to the Tattoo yet:)

    I'm all for #6. Something about a hot guy all wet and sexy looking that gets my blood boiling. Whether it is with clothes or not. In this picture I sense emotion in the model that screams sex appeal. Mmmmmmmmm Yummy! *Wink*

    There's definite attributes to each. But probably number 2 and 6. (Why limit myself) :)

    The reason--While a well defined 6 pack is marvelous, it's not what I'm totally attracted to. But it sure is fun to look.

    As for a book cover--I'm not that influenced by what's on a cover. Really.

    For me its #5. Tats and the facial hair totally do it for me. The scruffy feel of his facial hair....I can feel it tickle me. Plus, his happy trail is very nice.

    All the guys are so hot. I can't choose just one..

    #1 has all those yummy muscels and that peek of his but oh so tempting.

    #4 There is all those yummy musclels again hmmm and those long fingers makes me want to invite him to play me.

    #5 Those muscles are yummy and lean. I luv the tats, especially the wings placed in the right spot, giving me hope for one hell of a flight..

    I would buy a book with any of these guys on it with the right title. The cover and title get my attention, the outline on the back cover hooks me.. Thanks for the eye candy. :D

    His aura is definitely part of his appeal. I like his smile, which is more of a smirk but it shows a bit of his personality. He has a self-assured stance even though the minor slouch indicates he's laid back. The one hand on the jeans makes me thing he has a handle on things.

    I love number 6! I love a nice set of arms on a man and tats are an added bonus but of course that is just the iceing on the cake if it is on the cover of a wonderful book. A cover may catch my eye but it doesn't make me buy the book or not.
