What I've been up to and a new release from one of my favorite Authors.

It's been a while since I've written anything personal since I took a short break from writing romance and started to write Cozy Mysteries. I hadn't planned to be gone from the genre I love for so long.

I'll always consider the romance genre my home base. I just needed to stretch my wings and tell some stories that I've been kicking around in my mind for a while now. I've personally enjoyed the challenge of plotting and writing mysteries that leaves the readers stumped and guessing who the killer is until the last page.

But just because I've been writing Cozies doesn't mean that I haven't been reading my favorite authors. Virna DePaul has a new release in a series that I've been following and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it after my word count has been met. I hope you guys enjoy her books just as much as I do.

How would they describe you? Perhaps in need of protection or maybe a little brave

Tell us about your family.

Well, I’m a little disconnected from them at the moment because of an incident in the past. My Mother and Father are Alden Glen’s official Librarian’s, a sort of historian in Aelfir towns. I have two brothers, Hawthorne and Cedar, and two sisters, Hyacinth and Amaranth.

What do you think was left unsettled in your story?

There is one thing left unsettled. We’ve stopped the current trouble coming after us, but will there be more from the man’s family.

If you could change anything about your story what would it be?

I wouldn’t spent as much time away from Theron as I did.

Hi everyone and welcome to the 2nd day of August.

This is my favorite month, mainly because it's my birthday month.

Can't say that i'm really excited for my birthday but you know, it's that one day that's all mine!

Hope everyone has had a great summer so far. I know it's not over yet but before we know it i'll be doing my September welcome to almost fall post.

As for me, nothing special. I have a couple seriously active kids so they run me ragged. My son just turned 15 and is driving with a learners permit. He has a car waiting in the wings and before i know it, he won't need me to drive with him anymore. That's good and bad i suppose. I love spending the time with him but it will be nice to get out of the passenger seat and take control of my car again. Both my kids run cross country and my daughter, who is 12 going on 22, is heavy into Cheer.
Then there's my oldest, who i miss dearly as she is now married and moved to South Dakota.
That's an awful long drive from Michigan :(
