I love to hang out on Facebook and connect with friends and
other authors. But lately there’s been some shenanigans going on. Maybe you’ve
seen them…
Which Disney Princess are You? |
Have you ever wondered which 80’s television star should be
your boyfriend? Or which superpower you should get? What about which True Blood
character you are?
Lately on Facebook, Zimbo quizzes have abounded. I’ve
learned a great deal about myself. I really should be in control of the
weather. But then again, that was a no brainer after the horrible Michigan
winter we had this year. I would be Marty McFly’s perfect date. Again- that car…
I’ve always wanted a DeLorean. Not to mention, going back in time! Just imagine
the first hand research I could do. Finally, I’m really Yellow… but that isn’t
my favorite color. I love green because it matches my eyes.
Have you seen the fun quizzes that everyone seems to be
taking? There’s a new one out each week. They combine history, pop culture, and
random questions to formulate their response. The quizzes are a fun diversion
from the daily stresses of life. They give me a laugh about something silly
like which pop diva I am (the only diva, I’ve never heard of). Everyone has a
comment on them. We compare our notes. After the one quiz about which Golden
Girl we’d be, a group of us realized we made a matched set, just like on the
show and should move in together! Watch out Golden Girls remix- 2014 style!
Certainly, they aren’t meant to be taken seriously. After
all, when is Channing Tatum going to show up as my new boyfriend. It’s not like
he’s available anyway. And as much as I’d like to control the weather, it seems
like I couldn’t please everyone. J
You know how the saying goes, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
So next time you are looking for a break from your everyday
life…check out http://www.zimbio.com/quiz.
You might find out which Frozen character you are, or even what workplace suits
you!

Amazon 5 star review of A
Christmas Accident--I loved this story. I found myself smiling and needing a
kleenex. Ms. Keir has done a wonderful job with this story that I didn't want
to see it come to an end. If you're looking for a sweet story that will leave

What fun that was to read, Melissa. That was a good start to my morning.
Thank you, Melissa. I love taking these quizzes. On my way now to look at the site.
Fun post, Melissa. If I had to be a Disney character, I'd choose Rapunzel in Tangled. Loved that cartoon. So cute and funny. :)
I love the quizzes - any of them. I'm a big fan of Game of Thrones and I was Daenerys Targaryen - go figure!
What a fun post! The quizzes make me laugh and are a nice diversion once in a while.
Was there a Quiz? I saw Channing Tatum and don't remember much else after that. ;)
Thank you Rose! I'm glad I could make you smile!
Cara- The site is fun and the quizzes change all the time!
Tina- I always get Sleeping Beauty as the Disney Princess. Guess it has to do with my need for the bed!
Judy- Have you taken any of the quizzes about Game of Thrones? There's one about which Game of Thrones character you are...
Paris- They are a nice diversion. And a time eater! I can get lost in them when I should be doing something else.
Nicole.. Luckily for me I got Channing Tatum as my Hollywood boyfriend... a girl can dream!
What a great way to discover more about yourself. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Margo. I have been allowing the quizzes to keep me from writing! :)
Fun post, Melissa! I've taken some of the quizzes, but I try not to let them distract me.
Thank you Ella. They are quite fun! And certainly distracting!
I get suckered into those quizzes all the time. LOL My best? I'm Zoe from Firefly & Serenity. I can live with that!
I stopped playing them when I was made a TROLL in one of them. I wanted to be a dragon.
Diane, I also love to get the acknowledgement about being my favorite characters. :)
Liza... I think I was also a troll in one quiz. So I just retook the quiz until I got an answer I could live with. :) After all, I am NOT a troll!
I get a kick out of these quizzes too, Melissa. I'm always surprised to find out what character I'm most like. I was pleasantly surprised when I took the Firefly quiz and learned that I'm Zoe. She's my favorite female character in that series. :)
How cute, Melissa. Sorry, I'm so late, but I must have missed the reminder this morning.
Thank you Jolana. I love when I can "become" my favorite characters if only because of the questions in a quiz. But there's nothing worse than getting the one character you don't like!
Thanks for stopping by Sandy. I'm glad you could make it!
