Awareness and Early Detection
What do those words make you think of?
Hello, and thank you so much for allowing me to stop
by RB4U! My name is Michelle Grey and I typically write contemporary
romantic mystery and suspense. I am a voracious reader and love all
things romance, but that's not why I wanted to visit with you today.
If the words in the title made you think of cancer, you're not alone.
And
I'm hoping to do my part to increase both awareness and early
detection. Later this month, on January 28th, I'll be releasing an ebook
called "Are You Listening? A Personal Journal of an Ovarian Cancer
Survivor" that will take the reader through my experience from the
initial "discovery" sonogram to my final clear pathology. My hope is
that every woman will invest thirty minutes with this quick read to
become more aware of the early signs and symptoms of this "silent"
disease. In addition, all proceeds from this 99-cent ebook will be
donated to the Vicki Welsh Ovarian Cancer Fund - a great organization
doing wonderful things to provide education and research about OC.

A very worthwhile project, Michelle. I lost my sister to breast cancer at a young age. Awareness is extremely important. Thanks for sharing.
Kudos to you for writing such an amazing book. Cancer is scary. Ovarian cancer, IMO, is probably the scariest. May you save many lives with your book.
