BIO:
My
name is Teresa Jones and I write under the name of T.D. Jones. I write
romance, family drama and mystery with humor always sprinkled in my
books. I live in West Texas but
dream of retiring to Hawaii and being a full time writer someday. I love
to hear from readers and other writers and can be contacted at www.tdjones.weebly.com or jonestd17@yahoo.com
Q: What’s the first thing you did when you received word you’d sold a book?
A: I asked the publisher if she was sure she had the right person and then I cried!
Q: What part of the book is the easiest for you to write? Why?
A: I love the humor part where characters are just talking back and forth and getting to know each other. I think that is the part I love in my own life when I meet someone new, where everything still is fresh.
Q: What part of the book is the hardest for you? Why?
A: Sex, I don’t consider myself a sexual person and when I try to put them to bed the characters laugh.
Q: Do you eat comfort food when writing? If so, what food inspires your imagination?
A: M&Ms. I love the hard shell and the chocolate.
Q: What hobby do you enjoy when not writing?
A: Gardening, I don’t get a lot of time since I work full time and write at night but I love watching things grow so anytime I can plant something I will.
Q: What genre would you like to try writing in but haven’t yet done so? Why?
A: I would like to write a serious book about family and how they can be torn apart and sometimes you just can’t put it back together. I don’t think I’m there as a writer yet but someday I will be.

BLURB:
Salem Richmond’s a woman who has a lot going on in her world. She’s running a company she inherited after her parents’ tragic death. Her sister ends up in a mental hospital and as if that isn’t enough, Salem thinks she’s going through the early stages of menopause and her sexual desires are getting out of control. She doesn’t think her world will ever be normal again until she meets Dr. Mark Graves.
EXCERPT:
Salem waved and took a lick of her cone and then said, “She’s really enjoying herself.” She saw Mark watching her from across the table. “What?” she asked as she licked the dripping ice cream.
Mark took a bite of his cone and then replied, “You keep licking that cone like that, and I won’t be able to sit here with you much longer.”
Salem laughed and slowly made a circle around the cone with her tongue.
“I mean it, Salem.”
“Hey, weren’t you the guy earlier saying how fun it was to be on a date with me?” Salem slowly flicked her tongue against the ice cream and then looked at Mark and said, “Well, this is dating me.” She then bit the top off of the cone and started chewing it.
“Ouch. You just had to ruin a moment for me, didn’t you?”
Mark handed Salem a napkin. We better go out and get Cassie before I decide to just pass this dating stuff right up and get on to the good stuff.” Mark leaned across the table and kissed Salem gently on the lips.
“What was that for?”
“For the comment I made earlier about your hot flashes. I’m sorry.”
Salem stood up and pushed the chair closer to the table. “Hey, I’m over it.” She wondered if she really was. She wasn’t used to a guy wanting to help her with anything but getting out of her panties.

Thanks for having me today! T.d. Jones
Hi, TD. Salem's World sounds interesting. I'll have to add it to my summer reading list. :)
Best of luck to you!
What a great cover! Congrats on your release. Enjoyed your interview. :)
Intriquing excerpt. I like this gal already. Nice, honest interview.
Thanks for visiting with us! I enjoyed reading your interview.
I had to smile at your comment about sex and your story characters. Woody Allen's character in "Annie Hall" said (paraphrase) "Sex is the most fun you can have without laughing."
Best--Adele
