The good cheers, the easy smiles, even the grumpy people can't get me down during the Christmas holiday. We have a tradition for Christmas day. The kids and grandkids come over early for a big breakfast. Afterwards we open gifts. They leave to go to services, visit in-laws and other family, while my husband, Larry and I relax before I start preparing our Italian dinner, most of which I started the day before.

Can't wait to read your holiday story!
Rose Gorhamnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-41781656585809209132012-12-04T23:55:59.663-05:002012-12-04T23:55:59.663-05:00So, I don't really have a favorite Holiday rea...So, I don't really have a favorite Holiday read. I love all the ones I've read so far. Razing Kayne is awesome for suspense and on the seat of your pants thrills. Wallbanger is freaking HILARIOUS! Her cat Clive will have you in stitches. :)
Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed it. I love Christmas books and movies. I've decided to write a Christmas short story myself for next year. I also love the Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas romance movies this time of year. My husband and I watch them together, and many times he has tears in his eyes. Your book sounds really good. We've had some good Christmas traditions through the years, but now that my only child lives 2500 miles away, my husband and I spend Christmas day just the two of us watching Christmas movies.Cara Marsihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05384839120633419382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-84949654280742466742012-12-04T22:31:39.185-05:002012-12-04T22:31:39.185-05:00I love Christmas books & anthologies. I don't know what it is about the holidays but I find myself surfing the Hallmark channel and looking for all of those sappy, feel good, over the top holiday movies.

When the kids were little we started making Christmas ornaments every year and now have at least two trees full of stuff, lol. Your book sounds good. Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays because of the reason behind it, giving people you care about gifts, and the hope of the season. My family moved around so much that our traditions were always slightly altered year to year, sometimes even in different months if Dad had to go to another country with the military. My hubby and I are trying to find our own traditions right now as well and next year when we start for a family, we'll hopefully try more traditions as well.Carrie Ann Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07970393378674676451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-37240794156498480622012-12-04T10:38:34.852-05:002012-12-04T10:38:34.852-05:00Hi Carrie,

I have wonderful memories of childhood Christmas's. Christmas Eve, we had the nativity scene played by the children and afterwards we went to Grandma's house. Walking up the sidewalk, we could see the beautiful tree in the picture window. It was a lovely time, and I tried to recreate it for my stepchildren and great-grandchildren, but it just didn't take.
