Like two years ago, the size of baseballs. The trees were stripped of leaves and small branches. Cars totaled, roofs severely damaged. Many a time I've rounded up cats and dogs and gone to the bathroom to be safe. Knock on wood. I've never been in a tornado.Vicki Batman, sassy writerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13846704675542248648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-40879111254067383452015-04-09T10:23:45.402-04:002015-04-09T10:23:45.402-04:00I love snow for the holidays, but by February I...I love snow for the holidays, but by February I'm ready to see some lawn. Lol. I also like thunderstorms. I love to watch the light show in the sky, smell the fresh air as the storm sweeps in. The only time I don't like storms is when the Tornado siren goes off.
Liked the excerpt!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-57784377541812800682015-04-09T09:32:19.275-04:002015-04-09T09:32:19.275-04:00Love the snow - and the rain - and basically any d...Love the snow - and the rain - and basically any day that's a bit on the dreary side because it's perfect for cuddling under a blanket while drinking hot tea and reading a romance story... ;)
I grew up in the Midwest (Iowa) where spring thunderstorms often times led to tornados. Don't like tornados. Now that I reside on the West Coast (the high, dry desert of Nevada) we don't get much rain so no tornados, and snow has been quite scarce these past few years. :(
Adore your cover, Melissa...best of luck in your endeavors!Lynda Baileyhttp://www.lyndabailey.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5742415355016995707.post-84046416747683155572015-04-09T08:35:28.443-04:002015-04-09T08:35:28.443-04:00I like some snow but I sure wouldn't like what...I like some snow but I sure wouldn't like what they got in Boston this year. I'm really tired of shoveling, salting, scraping... so ready for spring. And storms? No. I love a nice, gentle rain but not storms - especially when they're accompanied by damaging winds and hail.

Your story sounds great!
