February Release and End of Series

On February 26th, I’ll be releasing the last book in my sixth series. It’s always bittersweet to see some of my favorite characters replaced with a new cast and different set of issues. I don’t know about other writers, but I tend to get nervous picking which series I want to write next when I have several floating around in my mind. Anytime I get nervous, no matter what the situation, I stop to think about one of my favorite quotes by Neale Donald Walsch, and it gives me the momentum to take the plunge. Hopefully, it will inspire you.

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ~ Neale Donald Walsch

My character Becca Thatcher in Deadly Dreams has no choice but to step out of her comfort zone when she’s in jeopardy of losing everything she holds dear.

DEADLY DREAMS

Psychic Becca Thatcher has long been haunted by visions of a killer. Her family believes it’s a thing of the past, but Becca’s nightly struggles are very much a part of her present. When the killer gets closer, Becca knows she must save the latest woman he’s stalking. Her only hope of stopping him before he kills again is to figure out how the two are connected.

Highlander Ian MacDougall is running out of time to convince Becca Thatcher to be his bride before he has to return to Scotland. He knew the minute they met that she was the one destined to tame his ways. Getting her to believe it is going to take a miracle.

When Becca’s childhood secrets are exposed, keeping her loved ones from the serial killer’s grasp is her only goal. Tracking and finding the killer before he finds her becomes her only priority. To stay alive she must focus, but dodging Ian’s advances while hunting her prey takes more than a little finesse when he decides staying in her home is the only way he can help keep her safe. In a battle of wits and wills, she’s fighting for more than her life. She’s fighting to shield her heart.

It is hard to step outside a comfort zone. But you are also very correct about how much fun and adventure awaits. I wish you all the best with your latest road!

This sounds like a great book. I'm sure your next series will soon grab hold of your mind and you'll be off again. I love writing series....

I love the quote and it's so true. The series sounds wonderful and best of luck with whatever new idea you decide to pursue.
