30 years of wedded bliss even amid a troublesome life.

We've been talking about weddings this month and I'm not sure there's much for me to add. Just some images from my life.

In June of 1985, these two 22 year old kids got married.
They had no clue what they were doing, but as this photo from March 2015 shows, apparently it worked. It wasn't always easy, and they've gotten a little crazier since then, but here you go. 3 months shy of 30 years. Now that's down to 16 days.

Last year, they were even the old folks at the wedding of their youngest son. Much more creative with the kilts, medals and a Celtic band. The two-and-a-half year old grandspawn was the star of the show, of course, along with her beautiful new mom, and handsome Dad, Uncle and Granddad. (or Gaga, as she prefers to call him.)

What will the next 30 years bring? I have no idea, but I hope it's more family fun and crazy adventure with my best friend and partner in crime. And I wish the same for the newlyweds here, and for the other son when he finds his mate.

My best advice? Stick together through good times and bad. Grow up as needed to make life work, but always keep a youthful, playful spirit to enjoy whenever you can.

Love your advice and I have to agree that facing what comes with a sense of humor and a playful spirit will make the good times better and the bad times manageable. Loved the photos, thanks for sharing:)
