BIO:
Daisy Dunn considers herself a prairie girl, having lived most of her life in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She lives with the love of her life, who is also her common-law partner and best friend. A hopeless romantic, Daisy fell in love with reading romance novels at age sixteen, when she bought her first one. She was thoroughly hooked and hasn’t stopped reading romances since.

Daisy always wanted to write, but life has a nasty habit of getting in the way of personal goals. Well, life finally stepped aside, and Daisy has started following her passion of writing erotic romances. Her favorite genre to write is paranormal, but she is not limited to it. She also writes erotica in ménage, fantasy, contemporary, and cougar genres and is hoping to tackle time travel and western someday soon.

Q: What’s the first thing you did when you received word you’d sold a book?
A: I did what any rational adult would do...I jumped up and down and did the happy dance with my boyfriend.

Q: What part of the book is the easiest for you to write? Why?
A: I find the middle the easiest. The story has begun and usually by the middle, the muse is running wild making the words flow from my fingertips into the computer.

Q: What part of the book is the hardest for you? Why?
A: I find the ending the hardest. I either think I’m ending it too quick on going on and on. It never seems to feel right.

Q: Who is your favorite character in your book and why?
A: I absolutely fell in love with Cole from my short story, The Portal. He had a Clark Kent type of personality, with a superman body. He was so in love with Gianna, he was willing to wait to mature to be with her. He was a shy Alpha Male and I loved writing about his. When I think of Cole, I think sexy, yet cute.

Q: If one of your books became a movie, which celebrity would you like to star as one of your heroes? Tell us about your hero.
A: I think I would love to have Thomas Jane play Cole from The Portal. As I mentioned earlier, Cole is a Clark Kent type of character, yet he’s incredibly handsome and sexy, without realizing it.

Q: What is your favorite romance book that you’ve read?
A: It’s a toss up between three of Christine Feehan’s Dark Series: Dark Magic, Dark Melody and Dark Celebration.

I’d love to hear from you!!

Thank you so much for having me on your blog today. It’s been a blast!!

BLURB:
Seth Colt had a trust fund set up for him to obtain on his thirty-fifth birthday, which happens to be Christmas day. In order to get that money, the stipulation is that he must be married. With no prospects in sight, Seth sets up a temporary marriage contract with Faith Timmons. They will be married long enough for him to collect the trust fun and then get a quick divorce. The problem he’s facing is that he has fallen madly in love with his new bride.

Faith goes to a job interview and is shocked when she is offered a marriage contract instead of a job. Since the terms of the contract are no sex and a million dollar payout when they divorce, she jumps at the opportunity. However, no matter how hard she tries to push the sexy rogue away, he remains vigilant in his pursuit of her.

EXCERPT:
Upon returning home, Seth walked Faith to her bedroom door to leave her for the night. He simply wanted to take his new bride and ravish her body until sunrise, but he knew she still hadn't been ready for him. He didn't want to scare her away, not when he felt things he had never felt before. He wouldn't touch her tonight, but tomorrow night, he intended to woo her at the ball and then see what might transpire.

"Good night, Faith."

"Good night, Seth."

He stood in the hallway fighting with his desire for her. Finally, he leaned down, kissed her tenderly on her cheek, and ran into the refuge of his bedroom.

For twenty minutes, he paced the floor like a caged animal, warring against the passion building into a dangerous level inside of him. He took off his shirt and socks telling himself to go to bed and masturbate, but now that he had a taste of her lips, he wanted more. She felt like a drug in his system and one kiss would only hold him for so long. He stood up, about to unbutton his pants, when he lost the battle raging inside of him.

He stormed out of his room, and without knocking, burst through Faith's door, slamming it shut behind him. She sat enticingly at her vanity in an oversized T-shirt and no pants. She had a brush in her hand but dropped it immediately. "Is everything all right?" she asked as he strode across the room to her.

He didn't utter a word, as the dark lust had taken over his very soul. She stood up, and when he reached her, he pulled her roughly into his arms. "Everything will be better soon," he finally replied as he leaned his head down. He crushed his lips against hers, as he forced his tongue into her mouth. She opened her mouth eagerly to his oral exploration.

He reached down and cupped her ass as he ground his erection against her. She gasped but didn't push him away. He pulled away from her lips. "Please, Faith, tell me to stop," he begged in a moment of clarity, trying to give her an out from his greedy desire.
