Honor a Hunk--I mean, a Hero

I know, I know, those bad-boy heroes are hard to resist. I love reading about hell-raisers and dark, mysterious men just as much as everyone else.

But, being that yesterday was such a momentous anniversary (something this huge deserves two blog days, don't you think), I think we should pause and think about the true heroes out there: men that repeatedly went back into a building about to collapse, hauled all their gear up fifty-plus flight of stairs to save the lives of two or three people...only to never come out of that building again.

Thank you to all the brave, wonderful heroes that serve and protect us every day.

Very nice. Yes, I agree they're the true heroes. I can indulge all kinds of fantasies looking at the pictures.
